Country FarmHouse Sweet Tea Recipe
3 Family Sized Tea Bags
Pinch of Baking Soda (I use 1/8 teaspoon)
1 cup of Sugar
Directions: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat. Add a pinch of baking soda to the water. Add Tea Bags. Cover. Allow to sit for about 10-15 minutes. Pour into a gallon pitcher and add sugar. Stir. Then fill the remainder of the pitcher with cold water. Stir again. Refrigerate. Serve over ice cubes.
Baking Soda will take the bitterness out of the tea and will also darken the tea. You will not taste it nor does it change the taste of the tea.
